Avatar III - The Crypt

I was looking through some old photos that I found (not that they were lost to begin with).. and found some from the Summerfests of 92 and 93.

I was thinking of posting some of them here, they include pics of Vick, Zarabeth, Dabhand, GlooM and myself. They also contain Avatars that have got lost in Limbo and can't find their way back to the land, Sigea, Arnie, Columbus, Bloodlust, Dylan and Soolaimon, (I know Soolaimon wasn't at the Summerfests, that was taken at another meet).

So please vote, shall I post them, or not.

The days when I was thinner and had more hair than I do now!

If that camera in your hand in this photo is anything to go by, I expect you have some of your own that you could post.

I'd have to find the photos first... They're around somewhere!

That's a good idea, we do need to raise some funds for the Director's Christmas Party.

That looks like Achy, bottom left and dear old Dabby third from left.

Columbus is between Achy and Dabs; Vick and Zara on the right; can't place the two furthest away, is one possibly Marc?

And where was it? And what year?

Thats one of the ones that I was gonna post..

They are left to right. Me, Columbus, Dabhand, Bloodlust, Marc (Zara's son), Hannah (Zara's Daughter), Zarabeth and Vick.

Hannah seems to be either hiding, or trying out one of Zara's invisibilty spells.

I believe that was Summerfest II in July 93 at the Cockle and Bacon.



And so is this, including the lovely Hannah this time.

I don't seem to have any pics of Gloom at the Cockle and Bacon, maybe he was drunk under one of the tables...

Right, I've found em. I need to scan them in so I don't think I'll be able to update today.

This is from Summerfest I in 1992, they are left to right:
Sigea, Gandalf, Arnie, Zarabeth, Vick and hiding at the back is Gloom and Dabhand.



Front left is Inka and Dylan (Aka Archer), Vick can be seen at the back left. As for the others, they're Silicon Villagers and their family. I'm sure Nick knows who they are

And this lovely young lady on the left is Soolaimon. Taken at Timmo's meet in Walsall.

The guy far right in the picture immediately above the text I've quoted is DEFINITELY familiar, but I'm damned if I can rememeber his name.

The memories are flooding back, though.

Which was the year I drove you back to the depths of Brum in the middle of the night, from the Motor Cycle Museum meet, if I remember rightly, or it could have been Leamington?

I always seemed to have been driving Gloom back to Bristol in the middle of the night; down the M4 from west London one night, if memory serves.

No pictures of me in the archive then? Not even winning at ten pin bowling? How sad!

This is making me come over all nostalgic. Did we ought to think about a reunion meet? Next summer, perhaps?

It was the Motor Cycle Musem, and probly in 93, it was before the 2nd Summerfest in July seeing as I got that avatar t-shirt at the Birmingham meet.



No I don't seem to have any of you, the only one at the bowling alley is above. Were you at the 2nd Summerfest?
